キセノン Xenone

原子番号５４番の元素はキセノン「Xe」。

Xenone is one of the noble gases and separated by fractional distillation of liquid air (% abundance 8.7 × 10^-6 in air).  Xenone reacts directly only with F₂ to provide compounds such as XeF₂, XeF₄ and XeF₆.  XeF₂, for example, is colorless crystals, with a melting point of 129 °C.
